oooooh. My favorite is a martini. No particular favorite but its the one that brings back the best memories to me.Once a month two of my closest friends would come over and we would have a girls night.

Each month we would try a new one.We would leave our troubles at the door and watch a stupid movie that we would wind up talking through. We all three live in different states now and I sure miss those nights.

My favorite is a Long island Ice Tea. I haven't had a good one in over a year now. Virgil's BBQ in Manhattan makes the best ones.

I'm wearing my new apron from this swap!!! It just arrived this afternoon. My beverage of choice - a Key West Sunset! It's ice cream, strawberries, and amaretto blended together and topped with whipped cream. :)

I guess my favorite would be a good ole Margarita -- made from scratch -- not with a mix......

oh.....one last installment here.....hope I win!

I have a FABULOUS houndstooth jacket I bought while working at "The Body Shop" back in 1987.

I bought it too large when 'oversized' was in fashion...think back to the "WHAM" look!

Then in the 1990's, I had it cut down to actually fit me.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that jacket!

The best part is that whenever I wear it, I get the BEST compliments!

my favorite piece to wear is a pair of black running shorts with the white strip down the side. I walk in them, basketball in them, have even been known to sleep in them. They are the greatest. I know I could buy another pair just like them. But I don't think they would be the same.

A nightgown. It has holes in it, you cant read the screen print anymore, and it is the rattiest thing ever. I LOVE it! I will never get rid of it.

Madelyn said...

An old holey tee shirt that I got at a school reunion. Ragged it is but still wearable for me.

I have a hand-beaded purse that my grandmother gave to me. Her daughter (my aunt) gave it to her and Grandma didn't like it so she gave it to me. it has string ties, and LOTS of bids and crochet. I've never used it, but look at and fondle it often! I will always hang on to it!!!!

Jody said...

An old ratty sweatshirt with the neck stretched out and frayed and paint splatters on the front and left arm--oh, and a bleach hole in the right arm!! But it is so comfy and soft and ....!

Jen Sue Wild said...

I have a fleece robe that I got when I was pregnant with my son, who is now almost 15 years old. It is the best robe ever and doesn't look like it's that old at all. :)
